Metro PCS burglary ends in shooting

One person shot

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police said a burglary Sunday morning ended with one man shot.

Officers discovered an abandoned car on Wurzbach Parkway. The vehicle had multiple bullet holes and merchandise from Metro PCS.

Meanwhile, police got another call from a driver claiming that someone was shooting at him and two passengers and left his vehicle on the side of the road.

Police said they learned that one of those passengers was at Northeast Baptist Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police said they then received a call about a burglary of the Metro PCS store in the 9400 block of Perrin Beitel Road around 3:20 a.m.

Police are piecing together the chain of events. Police believe the three people in the vehicle at the time of the shooting were involved in the burglary.
