8 people detained after shooting on South Side

Child grazed by bullet


SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police detained several people Sunday after a shooting on the South Side.

The shooting occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Stratford Court and Willis Street.

Police said they were first called to the area Sunday morning for a disturbance and returned hours later after the shooting.

A child was grazed by a bullet, police said.

Police also detained eight people and swept the area with police canine dogs.
