Trinity University to apply to become historic designation

SAN ANTONIO – Trinity University wants to become a national historic designation.

The university said it will apply to be on the National Register of Historic Places to create a historic district for the Trinity campus.

The initiative is part of the university's recently completed campus master plan. If the school receives the historic title, it would give them tax credits and several other benefits.
