SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating the murder of a woman at a Southeast Side gas station Saturday night.

The Bexar County medical examiner has identified the woman as Summer Perez, 25.

Police said the woman was putting a baby into a car seat while her vehicle was parked at the Citgo gas station in the 2000 block of Goliad Road when someone in a white Ford Expedition drove up beside her and fired one shot.

The woman was hit in the stomach and taken to the hospital, where she later died.
