SAN ANTONIO – Infamous cult leader Charles Manson died Sunday at age 83, but some people are confusing him with the famed punk rocker Marilyn Manson who is very much alive.
Charles Manson was serving nine consecutive life sentences for his involvement in the gruesome Manson murders when he died.
Marilyn Manson has been belting out hit music on stage for more than 20 years.
Some Twitter users were tweeting "RIP Charles Manson" with photos and gifs of the famous rock singer instead.
