SAN ANTONIO – UPDATE: Simona Pineda has been found safe. Family told KSAT they found her at a homeless shelter in Laredo. It's not the first time Pineda has traveled to Laredo -- she has family in Laredo -- on another occasion a security guard at a Greyhound bus station found her.
The San Antonio Police Department and the family of an 84-year-old woman are asking for the public's help in locating her.
Simona Pineda was last seen Monday in the 5800 block of Liberty Bell on the city's Northeast Side, where she lives with her daughter-in-law, Monica Enriquez.
Enriquez said when she got home from work, Pineda was gone.
Pineda suffers from dementia, high blood pressure and diabetes that require medications.

Enriquez said Pineda may have boarded a VIA bus. A few years ago, Pineda was found at a Greyhound Bus station.
"That's when we decided she needed to come stay with us," Enriquez said.
Pineda is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds. She has brown eyes and straight ear top-length gray hair.
She was last seen wearing a purple top and skirt.
