ME identifies 2 killed in T-bone crash caused by slick streets

BEXAR COUNTY, TexasUPDATE: The medical examiner's office identified the two people killed in a T-bone crash on Tuesday in Northeast Bexar County as 28-year-old Lucas Herrera Padilla and 28-year-old Abraham Guerrero-Ochoa.

Two people were killed and two were injured in a T-bone crash in Northeast Bexar County Tuesday afternoon, the San Antonio Police Department said.

Police said officers were called to the 6000 block of Green Mountain Road just after 11 a.m. after the driver of a Dodge Durango traveling south on Green Mountain Road lost control while attempting to pass a slower driver and slid into oncoming traffic.

Police said the Dodge Durango was T-boned by a GMC Sierra.

The two people in the in the Dodge Durango died and the driver and a passenger in the Sierra were hospitalized. SAPD said the pair were in stable condition at last check.

Officers said that the streets were slick due to rain.

The two people killed in the crash have not been identified.
