Man suspected of stabbing 23-year-old to death captured in Mexico, SAPD says Ulises Rodriguez, 23, charged with murder No description found
SAN ANTONIO – A man suspected of stabbing a 23-year-old woman on Sept. 5 and leaving her for dead on the side of a West Side street has been arrested, police announced Wednesday.
Ulises Rodriguez, 23, was apprehended in Mexico in connection with the fatal stabbing.
Authorities said they discovered the body of Karla Cristina Ornelas in the 3300 block of Colima Street along the sidewalk on the evening of Sept. 5 after witnesses reported a couple fighting.
First responders rushed Ornelas to University Hospital where she died hours later.
Rodriguez was located in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico by the Lone Star Fugitive Taskforce and authorities in Mexico.
He is currently awaiting extradition.
