Israel Alvarado, 64, was pronounced dead Sunday morning

SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Medical Examiner's office has identified the 64-year-old man killed in an overnight house fire on the city's West Side Sunday morning.

Israel Alvarado died after the fire broke out around 12:30 a.m. at a home in the 900 block of Saddlebrook Drive. Firefighters said when they arrived, they found the house fully engulfed in flames.
