Altercation at McAllister Park ends with man hitting victim with gun, brandishing weapon, police say

Incident happened March 18 around 6:15 p.m.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are looking for the person responsible for an aggravated assault that happened at McAllister Park.

The incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. on Monday, March 18 at McAllister Park located in the 13100 block of Jones Maltsberger Road on the city’s North Side.

According to police, the man (seen above) got into a verbal altercation with someone and then hit the 43-year-old victim with a handgun before pointing the weapon at them.

Police said the man fled prior to officers arriving. He has not been found.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
