SAN ANTONIO – Chris Madrid’s in San Antonio caught fire Sunday in the part of the building that’s farthest from the kitchen.
Restaurant officials posted photos of the aftermath of the fire to Facebook.
“The fire, smoke and water damage was largely contained to the back area of the cantina,” according to a post on the company’s Facebook page.
There’s no word yet on a re-open date for the restaurant, but the “best guess at this point is that (repairs) will most likely require (the restaurant) having to be closed for at least a few weeks,” owner Richard Peacock said via Facebook.
