Giant snake found by San Antonio mechanic Photo shows snake in tunnel

SAN ANTONIO – A city mechanic got quite a surprise Tuesday morning while cleaning the tunnels -- a giant snake.
The San Antonio Transportation and Capital Improvements Department posted a photo of its mechanic, Alfred De Hoyos, holding up his discovery.
The snake appears to be longer than De Hoyos.
Snakes can fit through tiny openings and easily hide in shadowy areas so be wary when you’re outside.
