2 drivers critically injured in morning rush-hour crash on city’s South Side

Crash reported around 7:30 a.m. at Spanish Grant near South Loop 1604 East

SAN ANTONIO – Two drivers suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash during Tuesday morning rush hour on the city’s South Side, police said.

The crash was reported just before 7:30 a.m. at Spanish Grant near South Loop 1604 East.

At least one driver was trapped and had to freed from the vehicle, police said.

It’s not immediately clear what caused the crash.
