SAPD: Man taken to hospital in serious condition after shooting

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating after a man was shot early Monday.

The incident happened after 2 a.m. in the 4500 block of Lavender Lane but officers found the victim at the intersection of East Commerce and East Houston streets as the man’s sister was transporting him to the hospital.

The 24-year-old shooting victim said he was hanging outside by himself in a parking lot on Lavender Lane when someone opened fire.

It is unclear where the man was struck but he was transported to a hospital in serious condition.

So far no arrests have been made.
