Disagreement at East Side apartment complex leads to shooting, San Antonio police say

Victim, 19, suffered gunshot wound to head

SAN ANTONIO – A disagreement between two men at an East Side apartment complex led to one of them being shot, according to San Antonio police.

Officers were called to the complex, located in the 4600 block of E. Houston Street, around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

They say neighbors reported hearing shouting coming from the parking lot, just before hearing a gunshot ring out.

Officers who responded to the 911 call found a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound in his head.

Police say he was in critical condition as he was rushed to a hospital.

They say witnesses told them the suspect ran off right after the shooting.

At last check, police were still looking for that 20-year-old man.

They say the victim and suspect both live at the apartment complex.
