Teen robbed, shot in leg after leaving West Side convenience store, San Antonio police say

Incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. in 7900 block of West Military Dr.

SAN ANTONIO – A young teen leaving a convenience store was shot and robbed on the city’s West Side late Thursday night, according to San Antonio police.

The incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. in the 7900 block of West Military Drive, not far from Marbach Road.

According to police, a 14 or 15 year old was leaving an EZ Mart when when he was robbed and then shot in the leg.

Police said the teen was driven to a house in the 500 block of Pleasure Park, where someone called for help.

The teen was taken by EMS to University Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all answered the call.

So far, no arrests have been made. A description of the suspect was not given.
