SAN ANTONIO – A storm that swept through the San Antonio area on Thursday night left some damage for residents and business owners.

Photos and videos posted on KSAT Connect show toppled trees, playgrounds and utility poles.

“OMG…….This used to be a greenhouse!” one user posted on Friday morning, along with a photo of tangled debris.

According to KSAT meteorologists, Bexar, Central Guadalupe and Comal Counties were under a severe thunderstorm warning until 8:45 p.m.

During the storm, the area was hit with heavy rainfall, wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour in some areas and hail — leading to multiple power outages.
