SAN ANTONIO – A woman was arrested for allegedly driving her vehicle into two people near a Northwest Side restaurant, killing one of them, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Officers initially responded to a fight just before 6 p.m. Monday in the 9700 block of Data Point Drive, near Wurzbach Road.

In an SAPD preliminary report, police said the woman, identified as Dionsiah Kazuko Edwards-Carpeal, 36, began following two people as they walked away from a local restaurant.
Edwards-Carpeal allegedly argued with them from inside her vehicle before driving into both of them, police said.
A 37-year-old woman sustained major injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where she later died. The condition of the second person, a 39-year-old man, was not immediately available.
Edwards-Carpeal was arrested for murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Bexar County court records show.
The investigation is ongoing.
