SAN ANTONIO – A 31-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after San Antonio police said he sent explicit messages online to someone he believed was an underage girl.

Nicholas Gonzalez is facing a charge of online solicitation of a minor, a third-degree felony.

Police said Gonzalez believed he was messaging a 15-year-old girl online, and the conversation “immediately became explicit.”

He then agreed to meet the teen in return for sexual acts, SAPD said.

SAPD’s Human Exploitation Unit and SAPD’s West SAFFE officers took Gonzalez into custody without incident.

At last check, he remains in the Bexar County Jail.

We’ll bring more updates as they become available.
