When firefighters arrived shortly after 1 a.m., they found flames coming from a double wide mobile home at the back of the property that belongs to Titan Factory Direct.
Initially, there were reports that two mobile homes were involved.
According to signs outside the property, located near Loop 410 and Marbach Road, the business sells and builds mobile homes.
By the time fire crews were able to put out the fire, it had burned one side of the mobile home to the ground. The other side sustained serious damage.
One worker who showed up before daylight said the mobile home that burned had been sold recently and was scheduled for delivery Tuesday to its new owner.
Investigators spent time going through the ruins, looking for clues about what caused the fire.
A fire department spokesman later said that the cause had not been determined.
According to workers at the business, the mobile home that burned had no utilities hooked up to it.
