Woman stabbed in neck during altercation with husband on Northeast Side, police say

Woman and man were taken to the hospital

SAN ANTONIO – A woman was taken to the hospital after she was stabbed by her husband during an altercation on Friday morning, according to San Antonio police.

The incident happened just after 5 a.m. at a home in the 13800 block of Flairwood Drive, near Judson and Lookout roads on the Northeast Side.

Police said the man cut his wife in the neck area and then went to another room, where he started to cut himself.

The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the man was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

Police said there’s no history of violence at the address but they are treating it as a family violence case.
