Man injured in hit-and-run in Atascosa County, BCSO says Driver did not stop after hitting the man

ATASCOSA COUNTY, Texas – A man was struck after a Friday night hit-and-run in Atascosa County, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened just before 8 p.m. in the 16300 block of Shepherd Road.
According to deputies, the man suffered from broken bones and head trauma after a vehicle hit him.
BCSO said the driver fled the scene, leaving the man unconscious. However, deputies said he was breathing at the time when BCSO responded.
Currently, the man’s condition is unknown.
