$5.2 million Hobby Lobby set to break ground in Seguin

SEGUIN, Texas – Art, crafts and DIY projects are about to get a lot easier for people who live in Seguin.

A $5.2 million Hobby Lobby is coming to Seguin, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Located at 1324 Interstate 10 East, the 55,000 square foot project is set to begin on March 1 with an estimated completion date of Oct. 1.

The closest Hobby Lobby to Seguin is located in New Braunfels, at 360 Creekside Way.

Hobby Lobby has over 46,000 employees across more than 1,000 stores in the U.S.

“What began as a $600 start-up, continues to grow and expand–enabling customers across the nation to live a creative life,” the website stated.

Hobby Lobby would be an addition to the few arts and crafts stores in Seguin, including You’re So Crafty, Shirt Maker’s Supply Co., and Artable Curiosities.
