EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – A 26-year-old Senior Airman from Boerne was found dead in a burned car on Wednesday near the base she was assigned to, the Air Force Medical Examiner confirmed Saturday.
Tamera Moniq Bolden-Cleckley was serving in the surgical squadron as a diagnostic imaging specialist, otherwise known as a radio technician, at Eglin Air Force Base near Destin, Florida. According to the Air Force, she began serving in 2021.

An Eglin Air Force Base employee found the burned vehicle on a test and training complex Wednesday morning and notified law enforcement. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and the 96th Security Forces Squadron responded.
While the vehicle was located off the main base, it was on land owned by the Department of the Air Force. Therefore, the scene was turned over to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.
“Senior Airman Bolden-Cleckley was a valued member of the 96th Test Wing team, and we extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and fellow Airmen during this difficult time,” said Col. Chris Keithley, commander of the 96th Test Wing. “We remain committed to supporting those affected by this loss and encourage anyone who needs assistance to reach out to any of our helping agencies.”
The Air Force and local agencies are providing counseling and support to those affected with resources through the Air Force Casualty Assistance Office, the Air Force Employee Assistance Program and the Chaplain’s Office.
The investigation remains ongoing.
