Man hit multiple times in drive-by shooting on East Side

SAN ANTONIO – A man was shot multiple times in a drive-by while he was taking a walk on the East Side, police said.

The shooting happened in the 500 block of Gulf on Saturday night.

Police said a person in a white SUV shot the man three or or four times.

The man was taken by a family member to Baptist Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are still investigating and talking to witnesses to see if they can gather more information on the case.
