With rain in this week's forecast, officials with the Department of State Health Services are asking people to get rid of any standing water in and around their homes to destroy potential breeding grounds for mosquitoes carrying the Zika virus.
The DSHS said people should start with clearing the following locations of standing water:
Gutters
The locations should be checked at least every three days to keep mosquitoes from breeding.
