San Marcos police searching for answers after deadly shooting
Shooting marks fourth homicide in San Marcos in 2017
No description foundSAN MARCOS, Texas – Robert Lee Castaneda, 31, was found facedown and unresponsive in the 2000 block of Hunter Road Monday morning.
Castaneda was pronounced dead at the scene by the justice of the peace who arrived shortly after police.
Castaneda appears to have been shot several times.
Nobody has been arrested, and police are still looking for witnesses.
This is the fourth homicide case in San Marcos so far in 2017.
