This event welcomes the public to a ‘master-planned, artisan-inspired community’ in Boerne

Inaugural EsperanzaFest set for this weekend

In the market to buy a new home in the Texas Hill Country?

An event called EsperanzaFest, in Boerne, aims to show off what it believes to be the first true master-planned, artisan-inspired community in the area.

You’re invited to check out the development during the inaugural EsperanzaFest, set for Saturday, May 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Enjoy a fun-filled day on Esperanza’s Roca Loca Lawn, complete with food trucks, live music, a petting zoo, face painting, family-friendly activities and giveaways.

Guests can also tour the model homes and explore the 11-acre resort-style private club.

Esperanza embraces the culture and character of the Hill Country and proudly pays homage to Boerne’s German heritage.

The community offers wide-open spaces and miles of trails to wander -- and is accompanied by resort-style amenities without sacrificing the natural landscape of the Texas Hill Country.

The Club has a resort pool, a zero-entry kids’ splash pad, a lazy river and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

“We also have a walkable Boerne ISD School. Our motto is to have a surprise around every corner,” said Connie Hentosh, vice president of sales for Esperanza. “That’s about the artful details like the Spanish tiles, the limestone furniture, even the etchings at our soon-to-come sand volleyball court. It feels like you’re in caveman drawings, and a lot of people talk about sustainability. And we actually live on a day-to-day basis, because we have the reclaimed water. We also have the Texas living fence. And it’s all about making sure what looks good today looks even better tomorrow.”

Esperanza is working on a new phase, coming soon, with more single-family homes. Additionally, there will be a community within a community, with a 55 age-qualified section in the works. Further into the future, more custom lots will be available, the group said.

If you are looking for a community that has it all, there is a town center in Esperanza and its own fire station.

“We’re also going to give away free HOA dues for a year if you purchased within the month of May,” Hentosh said. “You can tour the club and also get a free Esperanza mug and beer.”
