SAN ANTONIO – Tony Parker and his wife Axelle Francine welcomed a new member to their family Friday morning.

Parker tweeted that Francine gave birth to their second child on Friday, a boy named Liam.

Parker wrote in the tweet, “My son Liam and his mommy are doing well, so glad to be a daddy for the second time.”

Liam’s big brother, Josh, was born April 30, 2014. Parker and Francine have been married since August 2014.

Parker will soon head to Brazil to compete with the French national team in the upcoming Olympics.

He said during an interview earlier this summer Francine would not make the trip due to the birth of their second child.

It will be Parker’s final time competing in the Olympics with the French national team.
