SAN ANTONIO – Now that bars are starting to open back up around San Antonio and the weather is cooling off, there are some great opportunities to enjoy patio bars. Patios start filling up around Alamo City when the weather is nice and with the election coming up and just 2020 in general, some people might be looking to kick back a little bit and enjoy some well-earned R&R. Elder Eats: Wagyu ribeye steak dinner for two

SAN ANTONIO – David Elder shares his recipe for a steak dinner for two that you can make at home. Add ground black pepper and table salt to season the water. Liberally season every side of the two ribeye steaks with kosher salt and course black pepper. Add the broccolini and baby rainbow carrots to the skillet with the rendered steak fat and lower the cooking temp to medium-low heat. Add the veggies, potatoes and steaks to your nicest place setting and pour your preferred red wine.

Elder Eats: Blackened red snapper taco recipe

SAN ANTONIO – Try this quick and tasty blackened red snapper fish taco recipe, crafted by David Elder of Elder Eats! In a bowl, mix the sriracha and ranch dressing until you reach your desired spice and flavor. Slice the red snapper filet into five smaller filets and place in a plastic freezer zipper bag. Assembly:Place the corn tortillas on a plate and spoon about a tablespoon of the sriracha ranch onto each one. Cover the fish in another spoonful of sriracha ranch and top with pico de gallo.

SA Spirits: Flavor-packed craft beer comes to life at Weathered Souls brewing

SAN ANTONIO – Don’t be frightened by the name, there is life brimming at Weathered Souls Brewing Company on the near North Side. The brewing company just celebrated its two-year anniversary last November, but its rich flavors and craft beer combinations have already made a statement in the San Antonio area. Holt said he immediately saw something in Baskerville that set him apart from others in the craft beer business. “San Antonio likes to take its time and do it right, the craft beer scene is growing,” Holt said.
