TxDOT's new HERO program will provide roadside assistance along 239 miles of highway in the greater San Antonio area. (TxDOT)In November, the HERO service will expand to 24 hours a day, seven days a week with full service provided Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m and limited service provided Monday through Friday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and 24 hours a day Saturday and Sunday.
