Ever since Alex Trebek sadly died last year, America’s favorite game show, “Jeopardy!” has been rotating through a number of different hosts, including longtime contestant Ken Jennings, journalist Katie Couric, and now, NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers.

It’s still hard to believe that the iconic host of “Jeopardy!”, Alex Trebek, died Sunday after a long battle with cancer. It most certainly did, and the show’s Twitter account tweeted back that the picture made Trebek smile. Today we honor Alex Trebek. Here is an update on Trebek as he blows out the candles on a milestone birthday. Speaking to the New York Times, Trebek said hes had trouble sleeping and is often in pain as he goes through chemotherapy. Trebek said that he will plan on stopping treatment if his current treatment methods dont work. It doesnt bother me in the least.During the COVID-19 pandemic, Trebek has found time to write a memoir called The Answer Is...: Reflections on My Life, which was scheduled to be released Tuesday. For the re-airing of those episodes, Trebek taped introductions of those old shows from a studio in his Los Angeles home, which he said gave him a huge boost.
'Jeopardy' host Alex Trebek says he faced bouts of 'great depression' since cancer diagnosis
Nearly one year after telling the world that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, "Jeopardy" host Alex Trebek has revealed that he is now one of 18% of patients to survive the first year following this kind of diagnosis. Trebek posted a video on the "Jeopardy" Twitter page to update fans about his health and his plans to be among the 7% of patients to reach the two-year mark. "Now I'd be lying if I said the journey had been an easy one," he said in the video. Trebek has served as the face of "Jeopardy" since the show debuted in 1984 and has acted as the host for nearly 8,000 episodes. For now, it doesn't seem that Trebek has any plans to retire from the gig.cnbc.com
