A Northside ISD officer accused of shooting a woman at the Dub Farris Athletic Complex in October 2023 was arrested earlier this week.

A woman who was shot outside the Dub Farris Athletic Complex has filed a lawsuit against the Northside Independent School District and two of the district’s officers involved in the incident.

San Antonio police officers have fired their weapons at people on 18 different occasions so far this year, according to SAPD data.

San Antonio police identified three officers and a suspect involved in a fatal shooting over the weekend.

SAPD turned over the case for a possible charge of aggravated assault by a public servant. The shooting happened more than seven months ago.
