A historic Black church in downtown Memphis that was the organizing point for Martin Luther King Jr.'s final stand has suffered a devastating fire.

A San Antonio couple who invested $25,000 in a local restaurant company has yet to recoup any money and is no longer receiving messages from the then-owner of the company, they told KSAT Investigates.

A beloved San Antonio burger joint is about to go through a rebranding after a “hurtful” trademark issue with a Houston restaurant chain.

SAN ANTONIO – With accolades like being called the best burger in Texas, many were surprised to see Papa’s Burgers original location shut down. Owner Robert Walker posted the news on social media saying Nov. 12 was the last day in business. This isn’t the only Papa’s Burger location in San Antonio, a second was opened earlier this year on San Pedro Avenue. Walker is looking at possibly relocating the original location but nothing has been confirmed yet. SAN ANTONIO – The “absolute best burger” in the Lone Star State can be found at a humble restaurant on the West Side. Papa’s Burgers’ “El Caliente Burger” was named the best in Texas by Eat This, Not That, a food website that covers wellness, food, health and nutrition. The website partnered with Yelp and looked at star ratings and the number of reviews for each burger restaurant in every state.
