Teen arrested for murder of 17-year-old Sebastian Carpio, police say
SAN ANTONIO – An arrest has been made in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Sebastian Eduardo Vasquez Carpio, according to San Antonio police. Carprio was reported missing Sept. 19 and just a day later, his body was found in the trunk of a burned vehicle in the 6600 block of Calle Duarte in Bexar County, officials said. The suspect in the case turned himself in to San Antonio police on Thursday. He’s been charged with murder and was taken to the Bexar County Juvenile Detention Center. His name has not been released, because he is a juvenile, according to authorities.
Family, friends hold car parade to honor life of Sebastian Vasquez Carpio
SAN ANTONIO – A community is trying to heal after 17-year-old Sebastian Eduardo Vasquez Carpio was found dead in a burned up car earlier this week. As of Friday, there are still no arrests that have been made in the case. Friends and family of Sebastian gathered at the Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium to honor his birthday with a parade. Investigators said they were called out just before 9 a.m. Sunday for a report of a stolen car that was found scorched. Human remains found in west Bexar County belong to missing 17-year-old, police say
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police confirmed on Wednesday that the human remains found in a burnt car in west Bexar County on Sunday belong to a missing 17-year-old. His remains were found in a stolen car that was set on fire in the 6600 block of Calle Duarte, officials said. The Bexar County Medical Examiner confirmed the remains were those of the 17-year-old.
