San Antonio International Airport has been awarded a $10 million federal grant to support the next phase of its new Terminal C, according to a news release.

Drivers will see new construction fencing and reduced curb space, and airport officials advise parking instead of waiting at the curb for those assisting travelers with luggage.

San Antonio International Airport broke ground on its new Terminal C in December 2024. As February 2026 begins, an airport official said the project is progressing well.

The upsized terminal, part of a $1.2 billion Terminal Development Program, remains on track for a 2028 opening with 850,000 square feet, a single security checkpoint and 40,000 square feet of concessions space.
