One dead after speeding trucks collide with stalled cars on I-35

SAN ANTONIO – A woman was killed following a four-car pileup on a North East Side highway.

The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 35 north near the Thousand Oaks exit.

According to San Antonio police, the driver of a white car slowed down. That's when another car drove into the rear end of the car.

Police said two trucks were traveling down the highway at a high rate of speed. The trucks collided with the stalled cars, killing one of the drivers.

Three ambulances were on the scene.
