CONVERSE, Texas – Wet weather is at least partially to blame after a driver crashed their truck into the side of a home early Tuesday morning, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said.

The accident was reported around 4 a.m. in the 8100 block of Hikers Hollow in Converse.

According to deputies, a 19-year-old was returning home from work and was driving too fast for the road conditions and lost control.

The driver hit the side of a house and crashed straight into a living room, deputies said. Despite the crash, a Christmas tree is still standing.

Neither the driver, nor the people inside the home were not hurt in the accident. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office, the Converse Fire Department, and EMS responded to the crash.

At this time it is not known if any charges will be filed against the driver.
