Police: Jennifer White, 33, became pinned inside vehicle, died at scene

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police have identified a woman killed in a multi-vehicle crash late Sunday night.

Jennifer White, 33, died after her green Mazda MZ2 was hit at the intersection of Perrin Beitel Road and Naco Perrin Boulevard on the city's Northeast Side.

According to police, White was traveling southbound and was stopped at a red traffic light at the intersection of Perrin Beitel and Naco-Perrin when a gray Toyota Tacoma pickup truck slammed into the rear of her vehicle. The impact carried both through the intersection where they collided with a Ryder truck turning left, police said.

White was pinned inside and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency crews, police said.

Police said the driver of the pickup truck, Dakota Blaine Lovelace, 23, was evaluated at the scene and determined to be intoxicated. Police said Lovelace will now be charged with intoxication manslaughter.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
