1994 murder of two San Antonio women remains unsolved

Christi Kaufman was 15 when she went to babysit at a house on San Antonio's East Side in February 1994. She and her cousin Debbie Perkins, 23 and six months pregnant, were both shot and killed after someone walked in just after 1 a.m. Police believe the gunman was looking for Debbie's boyfriend, who wasn't home. No arrest has been made. Christi's brother Patrick was 16 when he got the call, and he's spent more than three decades showing up at SAPD's homicide division and filing records requests on his own.
