The marathon of triple-digit heat is expected to continue through Friday.

Tips for beating the heat

As we enter the hottest part of the year, it's important to remember a few tips that will help prevent heat-related illness.

First, if you don't have to be outside, enjoy the comforts of a properly working air conditioner.

Second, if outdoor activity is in your daily plan, try going out early in the morning or late in the evening and stay in the shade as much as possible.

Lastly, stay hydrated! Water is your best friend during a San Antonio summer!
