FORECAST
AURORA UPDATE
What a show. Texas just experienced a rare aurora event, and there’s another chance tonight due to a strong G4-level geomagnetic storm.
With more energy headed toward Earth, it’s possible, though not guaranteed, we may see them again tonight. Exact timing is unclear, but increased geomagnetic activity is forecast for tonight. Remember, you’ll need to get away from city lights; it’ll likely only be visible on your phone.
WARM NOVEMBER STRETCH AHEAD, FOG NEXT FEW DAYS
Humidity is returning, bringing the potential for brief, patchy fog. Fog is likely to be dense at times. Watch your morning drive: The fog could make for slower commutes and lower visibility over the next few days.
ELUSIVE RAIN
Despite the increase in moisture levels, rainfall stays out of the forecast. The only window in which isolated showers or storms would be possible is Tuesday into Wednesday. Even then, the odds don’t look great.
