In an emergency, you should always call 911 but sometimes non-emergency numbers can be useful depending on the situation.

Texans in affected counties who believe they have been scammed or encountered price gouging during or after Hurricane Harvey should call the Office of the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Hotline (800) 621-0508 or email consumeremergency@oag.texas.gov.

The public should call 311 for any questions or updates on City services. Out-of-town visitors should call 210-207-6000 to reach the 311 Call Center.
