SAN ANTONIO – Sargento has dropped its supplier after recalls this month due to listeria concerns. On Feb. 17, the company expanded its Feb. 10 recall to include seven more products.
The latest to be recalled are packages of sliced colby, muenster, pepper jack and tomato and basil jack. Packages of shredded cheese now recalled are reduced colby jack, pizzeria 4-cheese and artisan double cheddar.

Calphalon is recalling 2 million kitchen knives and knife sets because the blades can break.
The recall is for the Contemporary Cutlery carving, chef, paring, santoku and utility knives made from August 2008 to March 2016.
The company has received thousands of reports of the knife blades breaking and 27 reports of cut fingers and hands.

SodaStream has recalled 51,000 potentially exploding bottles. The company said there is a manufacturing defect and the carbonating bottles can burst under pressure. No injuries have been reported.
The recall involves blue, one-liter bottles with the expiration date of "4/2020."
Retailers including Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Walmart and Amazon.com sold them for the past year.

Nearly a half million plastic jumping-frog toys are recalled after reports of children ending up in the emergency rooms because of battery chemicals.
Moose Toys is recalling Little Live Pets Lil Frog and Lil Frog Lily Pad toys sold since August at stores including Target, Walmart, Toy 'R' Us and Amazon.com.
They operate with four button batteries. The company has several reports of the battery's cap becoming a projectile or battery chemicals leaking.
