The teacher has since resigned and the district is in the process of notifying the Texas Education Agency.

An East Central Independent School District Police Department report related to the criminal investigation had yet to be released to KSAT 12 as of Tuesday evening.

The district did confirm that the findings of the investigation will be turned over to the Bexar County District Attorney's Office.

The district would not say how long the teacher worked for ECISD.
