With two months away from the premiere of the fifth installment, Paramount Pictures released the last “Transformers: The Last Knight” trailer, teasing all expectations to the start of Evil Optimus Prime betraying his fellow autobots.

In the first 30 seconds of the trailer, newly added to the film series actor Anthony Hopkins sets the scene of King Arthur fighting alongside giant robots in what he describes as the greatest legend of all time.

The trailer quickly shifts gears, showing Optimus handcuffed to a ship in space as another transformer approaches him asking, “Optimus Prime, you destroyed your home. Do you seek redemption?”

Optimus then responds, “My maker, I do.”

The movie is set to be released on June 23, 2017, with actor Mark Wahlberg continuing his character from the previous film “Transformers: Age of Extinction."

Director Michael Bay returns actor Josh Duhamel as Lt. Colonel Lennox and John Turturro as Agent Simmons, who were last seen in the third installment, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon.”
