SAN ANTONIO – Chick-fil-A fans will see a popular side item back on the menu after a brief hiatus.

The side salad was removed from the menu in March after a “difficult decision,” but Chick-fil-A said it will return due to customer feedback.

The side salad will continue to be served at participating locations, the chain said in a news release.

“We are thrilled that customers can continue enjoying this menu item,” the release states.

Chick-fil-A also said it is adding seasonal drinks, including bringing back the watermelon mint lemonade for the first time since 2017.

The springtime drinks also include the new watermelon mint sunjoy, watermelon mint iced tea, and watermelon mint frosted lemonade.

“Guests have not been shy to tell us they love seasonal spins on Chick-fil-A’s signature beverages, especially during warmer months,” the release states. “This inspired Chick-fil-A to serve the popular Watermelon Mint Lemonade again after six years and create new variations of the limited-time flavor.”

The beverages are available in stores now.
