On the other end of that list coming up first was North Side Independent School District.
"I'm very proud of our results; for the fourth year in a row we're going to be a recognized school district," John Folks said.
Northside ISD is the largest school district in Bexar County with 107 schools. It had 31 exemplary schools and zero unacceptable. Folks said he attributes the district's success to two things.
"I've always said the most important thing in the education of a child, next to the home, is the teacher in the classroom. So I'm very proud of our teachers on the Northside," Folks said.
North East Independant School District, with 73 schools, had zero unacceptable and 16 exemplary.
Judson Independent School District with 30 schools, had zero unacceptable and three exemplary and Harlandale Independent School District with 30 schools had two unacceptable and three exemplary.
