SAN ANTONIO – Residents are being asked to vacate a West side apartment complex, after a long list of problems with two of the buildings there.
It's happening at the Marbach Park Apartments on the 1800 block of Horal.

Marc Castro, the assistant director of development services for the city's Code Enforcement office, said the city started looking at the complex in September when they got a call from the fire department about part of the brick facade, falling off the building.
However, after some inspections, the city confirmed that two of the buildings in the complex were in much worse condition than they had initially found back then.
"We feel right now that these buildings are in such bad condition that they do need to be vacated," said Castro.
Residents in buildings 2 and 15 received notices on their doors this week.
"My brother got a notice on the door stating that he needs to be out by Monday," said April Davis, who is concerned about the structure. "And, that the whole building needs to be out by Monday because it is obviously falling apart."
Castro told KSAT on Friday that the buildings in the complex have major foundation issues, in addition to a long list of other problems.
"We have some concerns about balconies and stairways," said Castro. "We also have concerns about significant portions of the brick facade, that's already peeling away from the wall."
Managers at the Marbach Park Apartments would not answer any of KSAT's questions on Friday and instead, asked crews to leave the property.
Castro said for now, buildings 2 and 15 have been deemed inhabitable, but that they are also looking at the rest of the buildings in the complex and that they'll bring up the issue before the Dangerous Structures Determination Board by November 14.
