SAN ANTONIO – A middle school principal went on damage control Tuesday after he said a student brought a loaded gun to school.

Sam Rayburn Middle School Principal Scott McKenzie wrote in a letter to parents that a student found a gun off campus and brought it to school to show his friends. He assured parents that their children were safe and that the school took all the correct measures.
